Scope and Content Small black and white mounted photograph of inscribed stone annotated on back 'Hoddam Church'. It appears to be an inscribed slab or part of altar photographed lying on paving or against a stone wall. It is one of four photographs of 'Altars at Hoddam Castle from Birrens' addressed to the Secretary, Society of Antiquities, and annotated 'See my refs on back of photos', also ' xxx contains Drawings of 3 of these'. See PSAS Vol 30, fig. 19.
